John Bohan - Founder and CEO

John is a 20-year marketing vet and entrepreneur with a penchant for building companies and things that matter. Unfortunately this excludes sandwiches, because he does not eat bread. We’re working on this.

Cassy shatters glass ceilings everywhere she goes…mainly because she’s 6’5’’. As clients quickly realize, our head of strategy can always see the forest through the trees. She can also help you find your friends in a bar.

Davey’s ideal date is a long walk on the beach that will inevitably get interrupted by a trending topic that requires real-time optimization.A real freak in the spreadsheets, this one.

Our Story

Hanging out! Just a placeholder Just a placeholder Our Team out on the beach having a good time Great Photography Just a placeholder Just a placeholder Working behind the scenes One of our excellent presentations Just a placeholder Just a placeholder We enjoy doing outdoors activities - we are a great team!

We are a team of content creators, social strategists, and developers who love to work on behalf of brands to produce engaging, shareable content that drives real business results. In our first year, we consisted of one person, our founder, working round the clock to try and figure out how to help brands to market themselves in Social Media. After nearly a year of struggle, he landed on a business model that seemed to have some promise and in August of 2008, we had our first client, The Game Show Network. Shortly thereafter, others followed from Showtime to Fox to Reebok.

At that time, everyone wanted to build fans so we became one of the first companies to run highly optimized media on Facebook. We moved out of the home office, expanded to 20+ people, and grew to over 100 clients by late 2010.

In 2011, it was clear that our clients faced another problem—they all had a lot of fans with little to do. In the interest of helping them, we hired a talented team of writers, developers, strategists, data geeks, graphic designers and other talent who produced fun, engaging ideas that entertained fans with shareable content that spread across social.

Since the addition of our tech, data and creative talent, our business and passion has stayed pretty much the same—we love to take large brands and make them fun, engaging, and easy to talk to. It gives us great thrill to see likes, shares and comments skyrocket on a post or to see an app shoot to 900,000 users in a week. Our data team eats up this success, as they dive into the numbers and ask “the why” and “how do we repeat”. And, our strategies work with our data geeks and media team to move customer engagement to customer sales through the right collection of ads targeted to the right people on the right networks.

We feel that Social Media is the next great marketing disruptor that is completely changing what it means to be a brand. Today, consumers want companies that are relevant to their needs, responsive to their questions and real in their communication. We love playing in the center of Social to help our clients adapt quickly to this rapidly changing space, allowing their businesses to thrive.
