California Pizza Kitchen, commonly known as CPK, is a casual dining restaurant chain with more than 200 locations, which is known for its California style, and non-traditional pizzas. CPK wanted to promote their Valentine’s Day “Sweet Deal For Two” prix-fixe menu (two entrees and one dessert for $32) – but didn’t want to rely on traditional advertising to do it.
Socialtyze created an immersive social application that allowed users to upload photos that answered a single question: what would you do for love? But it’s not enough to just build an app. You need to raise awareness, and our influencer network brought in qualified, interested traffic by the fistful. All of whom spent real time engaging with the CPK brand.
StoryCafe used our enterprise level software to identify a long tail of influencers in the restaurant space. Through our entertainment connections, we got ex-Bachelor contestants to post about what they would do for love (because let’s face it, they’ve done some CRAZY things for love!). Such well known Bachelor and Bachelorette celebs as Courtney Robertson (Former Villain and Winner of Season 16) and Chris Bukowski (Notorious Bad Boy of Season 8) joined in, as did popular Wedding Blogger, Jen Campbell, and TV Host, Carolyn Scott-Hamilton.
